A stripped back business card that relies entirely on material, depth and restraint rather than heavy print or decoration.
Produced on GF Smith Colorplan Bright Red, the piece uses a bold uncoated stock as its foundation, allowing the physicality of the paper to do most of the work. The identity is introduced through a deep deboss of the HMKM marque, creating a subtle, almost hidden presence that only reveals itself as the light moves across the surface.
White HP Indigo print is used sparingly for the contact details, sitting cleanly against the red stock and providing just enough contrast for clarity without overpowering the blind detail.
The reverse remains almost untouched, reinforcing the minimal approach and allowing the deboss to carry the entire piece.
This is a good example of how far you can push a single stock with very little intervention, where the finish becomes the message.
