Created for Gull Rock II, this project book is designed to reflect the scale and intent of the development from the moment it’s picked up.
The format does most of the work upfront.
At 426mm x 303mm, it immediately changes how it’s handled. You don’t flick through it casually. You sit with it. That alone shifts perception before a single page is read.
The case bound construction reinforces that.
It feels like a book, not a brochure, which brings a level of permanence and importance to the content. It suggests this is something worth spending time with, not something disposable.
The cover stays deliberately restrained.
Book cloth with a silver foil deboss keeps it clean and controlled. No noise, no over design, just material and finish doing the job properly.
Inside is where it earns its keep.
The combination of HP Indigo white ink on black stock alongside full colour sections allows the content to move between more technical, architectural pages and more visual, lifestyle driven spreads without losing consistency.
At this size, there’s nowhere to hide.
Everything needs to be sharp, balanced and easy to read across every page, otherwise it falls apart quickly.
This holds together well.
