Created for Formula 1 Paddock Club, this rigid presentation box was designed to mirror the brand itself. Precise, controlled and quietly premium.
Nothing about it feels excessive.
The outer wrap uses a deep black soft touch stock, giving the box an understated presence from the outset. Rather than relying on heavy graphics or large branding, the detailing is deliberately restrained, allowing the materials and structure to carry the experience instead.
A subtle spot UV pattern runs across the lid, only becoming visible as light moves across the surface. It adds depth without disrupting the minimal aesthetic, creating a finish that feels technical and refined rather than decorative.
The copper ribbon introduces the first point of contrast.
It immediately draws attention while also guiding the interaction with the box. The ribbon becomes part of the opening sequence itself, creating a more deliberate reveal and reinforcing the sense that every detail has been considered carefully.
Inside, the structure becomes even more purposeful.
A black internal lift flap sits above the main contents, finished with copper foil branding that echoes the external detailing. Opening this secondary layer slows the interaction down, adding anticipation before the contents are revealed beneath.
The reverse of the flap also serves a functional purpose.
A die cut slot was integrated into the structure to securely hold documentation or certificates, allowing the presentation piece to feel organised and complete rather than simply decorative packaging.
The main insert is permanently fixed into the tray construction and built specifically around the contents it was designed to house. Copper foil detailing frames the aperture, directing focus inward while tying together the ribbon, foil accents and darker material palette used throughout the piece.
Subtle texturing across the insert adds another layer of tactility without overwhelming the design.
That balance is what gives the project its strength.
Everything works within a tight visual language of black, copper and structure. The result feels engineered rather than styled, aligning naturally with the Formula 1 Paddock Club identity and the premium environment it represents.
