At first glance, it feels incredibly minimal.
Soft grey tones, generous spacing and understated typography give the piece a calm, refined presence. Nothing is trying to dominate the page, which is exactly what gives it confidence.
The detailing on the cover is where the project really separates itself.
Black pigment foil creates depth and sharpness within the HOOKE marque, while a fine gold foil cross sits precisely within the lettering. It’s a small detail, but it changes the entire perception of the piece. The combination of matte black and reflective gold creates contrast without needing excessive decoration.
Alongside that, the foil embossed pattern introduces another layer of texture and movement across the surface.
As light moves across the cover, the pattern gradually reveals itself, adding detail without interrupting the clean overall composition. It’s subtle, highly controlled and deliberately restrained.

Square backed saddle stitching gives the brochure a more substantial feel in hand, helping it sit closer to a perfect bound publication while still maintaining the flexibility and efficiency of a stitched format.

Large areas of negative space allow imagery and typography to breathe naturally, reinforcing the premium positioning of the brand. Nothing feels crowded or overly designed. Every element has room to exist properly.
