Created as a premium presentation box, this project demonstrates how subtle finishing can create impact without relying on bold graphics or excessive decoration.
At first glance, the design feels deliberately restrained.
The clean white exterior is interrupted only by a simple green ‘Hello.’ logo, allowing the material itself to become the dominant visual element. It’s only as the box moves through the light that the second layer of the design begins to appear.
A large geometric pattern has been applied using clear gloss foil.
Rather than introducing colour, the foil creates contrast through reflection, appearing and disappearing depending on the viewing angle. The effect is understated but highly tactile, rewarding closer inspection and adding another dimension to what initially appears to be a minimalist design.
The rigid construction reinforces that sense of quality.
Wrapped in Colorplan White Frost over 2000 micron boxboard, the box has the weight and rigidity expected of a premium presentation piece. Crisp edges and precise construction ensure the geometry of the design is carried consistently across every face.
Projects like this demonstrate that luxury packaging doesn’t always need complex graphics or multiple embellishments.
